I’m an analyst by trade so it was pretty easy for me. I linked an Excel workbook as the data source for PBI, and in Excel there is a feature that if you put a ticker it updates the price daily. I created an excel vba code that instead of replacing the value per ticker, it creates new rows every day and retains the previous days values. So PBI looks at all the values and returns the maximum value, then a calculation is done that show the price I should buy at based on a 25% drop on that maximum value. For bull market it doesn’t do too much for me but it comes very handy once we enter crash territory like we did in 2022 when things all of the sudden free fell.
