Genuine curiosity: why don’t you think plug-in electrics aren’t viable “in our lifetime? Assuming you don’t have a terminal disease and only a few years to live (and, if you do, uh… my condolences, and I’d be happy to name my next kid after you in exchange for a spot in your will), EVs are improving, and a lot of the battery tech I saw at bench scale as a grad student 15 years ago is now moving to production. We could see energy density parity with diesel in the next 10 years and gasoline after that, meaning that range anxiety finally ceases to be the big hang-up even wider mass adoption. And that’s just the stuff I happen to know about.

Everyone knows the real giants of the weed stocks will be cigarette manufacturers. -their client base is dying -they already have the farms/factories/distribution to mass produce and ship the product professionally.
