I'd treat Whirlpool like a blue chip company. They aren't going to go up, they aren't going to go down, they aren't going to do any 1 billion stock buybacks. What they are going to do is pay 1.75 a share dividends. All this null and void if they can come up with an AI integrated wash/dry/fold machine or an AI assisted blender that fluffs your eggs to perfect consistency.

Fold toilet paper a few times. Pump a pea-size amount of liquid soap onto it. Then run a bit of water over it so that it's mostly moist but not too moist that it tears. Wipe and scrub. Do it again with a new folded sheet. Rinse and repeat. When it's mostly clean, don't put any soap on the last one and just use water. Wipe and done.

I think Peloton has a good product with a good value proposition for those who really like spin classes but don’t necessarily care for the in person portion of it. Problem is that’s kind of niche and once they went public with this infinite growth mindset they fucked themselves. Their app is quite good, the bikes are decently built, definitely overpriced though. I think they could have been a very successful private company in their niche. Maybe they still can be in the future if they don’t fold or have the bones picked clean by some private equity vultures.
