Seriously. What actually happened is buffet's sale caused the float to increase (he was considered a strategic holder so didn't count towards shares outstanding) which made every ETF have to buy apple shares on the close today. Most agreed to do that on the closing print with some bank or another so that's what happened today.

When I was a teenager, I had two friends who were twin (fraternal) brothers, and their parents were both medical doctors, one quite famous. From the age of about 17 they would leave us and another of our friends, also doctors child, alone in their big mansion on their woodsy property and we would raid the drugs and liquor and just go nuts. I particularly got in trouble for my insanity, and I was constantly being reprimanded that neighbors could hear, but then they would go off screaming into the woods too, so I bet its kind of like that. The good news, we grow out of it more or less.
