I think of Elon as a visionary inventor. It's not his fault that no other company is bothering to really innovate today. Most tech companies are just dodging regulations, like Uber and a whole bunch of fintech. Sure you can invest in them so they destroy the fabric of society faster if you're really up for it. The K-shaped economy is because of wealth inequality, it has nothing to do with AI. It's just, as an incredibly wealthy person, are you going to buy even more stocks of consumer staples with declining Birthrates and zero meaningful innovation, or are you going to buy Elons companies who are at least trying to do something and he usually gets you decent returns. (Buying nothing is not an option). I don't think Elon is a good guy. I don't think he's a bad guy. I think he's a guy that loves to dream and innovate. It's kind of up to society to steer him.
