One of the biggest issues is they are no longer getting huge revenue from carbon tax credits. Stellantis (Chrysler) was paying 8 billion a year to run all their gas guzzlers but they are now in the EV game and the big V8s are on there way out. There fleet will be much more fuel.efficient, and those big carbon credits are drying up. Add to that the Cybertruck, which is rolling out very slowly and have very polarizing styling, a stale model lineup other than the Cybertruck. Massive competition from Chinese EVs, which, frankly, are a lot fresher looking than Teslas and will fill that huge domestic market and probably begin to see some real penetration in Europe. Then you have high interest rates, increased domestic competition, and Musk continually pissing in the well of consumer sentiment via "X" and ...well, things aren't looking good for Tesla right now. They do have FSD tech, which could be a game changer, but when it will be fully ready for prime time isn't clear. What they are doing with Wayno is interesting, but I'm not sure if that's part of Tesla or it's own thing. Tesla's used to be cool and had a cache to them. Musk basically turned them into a pariahmobile based on his own persona, whether that lable is fully deserved or not. Then there is the oil companies, desperate to.stop EVs or delay them as long as possible running anti EV campaigns non stop with a media more than happy to do their bidding if it puts a fork in Musk, their arch enemy. Not sure where this all leads but probably no place good for Tesla in the long term.
