The Beginning by Mike Posner is a heck of an album. The Veil of Maya, in particular, is really something. Same with High Forever and Kaleidoscope of Emotions. I think I just relate due to my depression. If you're depressed or have any kind of emotional complications, I highly recommend giving the album a listen. I literally cried the first time I listened to The Veil of Maya because it hit me at just the right time. I may not be here today had I not listened to that album. I went from being a newly-minted partner at a white shoe law firm who hates his life even though ostensibly I had everything. Then I made a fortune on and immediately following Liberation Day, retired in my thirties, and thought it was all good. But I somehow never felt more empty and became suicidal. Now I'm on a journey to enlightenment and happiness. Chase money for fun, not fulfillment; I promise you that it won't fix your deepest problems beyond reducing financial stress. I hope you all find your own peace, and I'm always a message away if you're down and out and need an ear to yell into. I mean that, y'all ✌️🤙

Thanks for formatting the stupid into bullet points so it’s so easily digestible. Amazon has ~90 billion cash on hand and made 21 billion net profit in q3. They could give openai 38 billion worth of compute and openai could *never* pay them a penny and Amazon wouldn’t even feel it. There’s so much dumb in these threads I couldn’t respond to it all even if I wanted to. The economy is not propped up by ai like it was in 2008 (mortgage backed securities) or 2001 (billions in dark fiber waiting for users that hadn’t materialized yet). What would it take for the “bubble” to even pop? We wake up and suddenly ai isn’t useful? You really think these people who became the richest in the world can’t figure out how to turn a profit on something with literally hundreds of millions of users a week? Instead of regurgitating nonsense you see from doomers actually look at what’s happening. The first law of bubbles is not being able to see the bubble at all.
