They’re my mortgage provider. Saw that the stock cratered but the high rates were killing everyone in real estate. Also had a good experience with them and my loan officer was still employed so figured it couldn’t be that bad internally. I bought this in April at 1.07 expecting it to move to 2.5ish but the citron research came out on top of rate cutting rumors so now I’m holding to see what happens

At this point these posts are just stupid. AMCs value isn't tied to the box office or any other practical measure. The stock is diluted to shit, the financials are terrible, and the valuation makes absolutely 0 sense. Given how many shares are out there, the market cap is pricing in 20 years of the greatest box office sales ever, and AMC capturing that market share better than they have ever before while also making extremely prudent financial decisions. "Good movies coming out" doesn't mean anything for the insurmountable efforts and fortune that would be required for AMC to even grow into its current valuation, let alone actually going up based on anything besides worthless speculation. I'm not saying it can't go up, but it's stupid to pretend it's going to go up for any other reason than speculation and ridiculous conspiracies.
