As you can imagine, the internet had a few things to say about the price move. Here's a few choice comments from the Reddit Traderverse™:

Remember when bulls claimed that there is no correlation between coin and stocks? LOL

What it was for maybe. Isn’t the whole point of bit coin to trace stuff on the block chain? Thought everyone moved on to monero or whatever else purposely obfuscates the transfer.

The 1 year UPST chart is hilariously similar to several thousand failed and obscure crypto currencies in the last year. I'm surprised op hasn't searched for "undervalued" assets in that area since they are a dime a dozen. You could make the argument you have a higher winning probability on a volatile crypto coin that shoots back and forth in a range as well. There are plenty of high volatility coins such as that. Also, unlike UPST, everyone and their grandmother isn't aware of the crypto coin being a dumpster fire of an asset because it's literally impossible to accurately gauge the value to begin with and there's 19,000 different coins competing for attention. UPST can easily stay irrationally oversold longer than anyone can stay solvent and it can easily disappear into low priced obscurity with reduced volatility and volume for years after it's short time in the spotlight dwindles and some new volatile creature is found.

Other side of the coin is which companies will benefit from reconditioning and reselling the vehicles. Unfortunately Manheim auctions which is the largest automobile auction in the world is privately held by cox. For maybe a small bump we have Kar and acva. If this is the glory days of repos they could get a small bump. For the people who drive their future repossessed cars like they stole it there is iaa which auctions repairable cars. If anyone else could add to this that's the only 4 I know of.

Realistically I could see corn stopping at 2$. If they stopped all the infinite printer "stable coin" bs.... that'd be real market value.

When jesus was teaching stock analysis and a begger put a coin in the offering plate, jesus said, "see that retard over there? He just yolo'd everything he had on spy 375 0dt's, while you only put 5% of your portfolio on itm calls. He is the better trader." My point is, if 500 is everything they have, it's worth it.
