Love em or hate em, here's what /r/Wallstreetbets is murmering about this morning

What do SPY, GME, and AMC have in common? They're all shouting on /r/Wallstreetbets this morning.

Equally important, on /r/investing, they can't stop chatting about GME, UBER, and COIN, and the traders on /r/valueinvesting are murmering about GME, COIN, and SPY.

Overall, /r/Wallstreetbets sentiment is bearish compared to bearish yesterday and bearish the previous week.

It's true, Gamestops prospectus from last year summer basically says if their dividends get fucked with in any way, they have the full legal right to pull all stock out from the stock exchange in a 90 day timeframe. Dividends are most likely going to be fucked with, but GameStop has legally covered themselves so far ahead of time in this scenario + they have a marketplace coming out soon, where they can redistribute the shares, and naked shorting won't be a thing in the block chain. Anyone have the DD linked for this? I know there have been several DDs mentioning the prospectus, but I'm surprised a few people weren't aware. Gotta help spread the DD that covered all this

We can not trade these zombie stocks that’s the thing they took all of us out of it, and that’s another reason why the CFTC canceled all reporting until 2023 n cause there is systemic risk there that they are trying to hide from us.

His pinned comment (video follow up): "Hey all, I made this video and then wanted to make sure I didn't make any mistakes, so I just called Fidelity and walked through this all with their rep, Bobby. He confirmed everything I said regarding the Locate -> Short Seller -> Lender -> Other Broker and New Owner. He also said there's no way Fidelity can "float" the dividend on their books to their locate pool. As a Broker, they simply can't do that. Market Makers and Primes have tools to provide "Supplemental Liquidity" (SLP), but Brokers don't and couldn't legally since they must hold assets they are supposed to be holding for their beneficiaries. He said several times the only way they'd be able to provide the locate the dividend (since the DTC won't provide it) is for Fidelity to buy it themselves or do a share recall to force the short seller to close the position."

I was at a Toyota dealer last month and realized I didn't have income verification with me. The dealer not only stated they rarely check income but suggested I lie and put on my app that I made more than I did.....remind anyone of anything? Edit: a word

If I understand, he's suggesting Citadel may be manipulating the price of OTC stocks to maintain collateral, to prevent margin call on their short positions: https://www.reddit.com/r/Superstonk/comments/vu4mc3/found\_the\_fucking\_swaps\_cellar\_boxed\_otc\_penny/ High level, the way this would work is: 1. Retail can't buy or sell these stocks, so we can't "buy low sell high" or add any sell pressure when they're overvalued. 2. Because a limited number of institutions are able to transact these stocks, if they're colluding they can push the price up or down to whatever price they want, then collateral would be "# owned * current price". 3. On July 7th, a bunch of these went up something like infinity %, so something interesting caused them to need more collateral. I don't really know enough to say whether it's true or not, just that that seems to be what OP is saying. One concern I have is that if banks or whoever is the counterparty to these swaps accepts these as pristine collateral, their risk management is already beyond hope for a rational margin call, because the level of either ignorance or bad faith to not recognize this fraud pattern (if true) is so egregiously bad that they'd be unlikely to recognize it until they're forced to by a 3rd party with sufficient leverage, like the Government or DTCC (neither of which seems capable of or interested in making a timely intervention to protect retail investors).

Great idea. The amount of info to cover is egregiously detrimental for onboarding new Apes. They have to clear thru the FUD, karma farming, and 2 yrs of inside jokes/knowledge, all while learning the deliberately complicated financial fuckery that is happening… We need to make onboarding new Apes as easy as possible; we can do this by linking helpful dd/info, responding kindly and informatively to genuine inquiry, and correcting misinformation when we see it + always being open to broadening our own understanding of the issues Edit: anyone have a link to the dd categorizer/search engine an Ape made a while back? (Edit 2: Not the bookcase) Edit 3 thanks u/derlocker, this is a great tool for Apes 🦍🚀🦧 https://app.powerbi.com/view?r=eyJrIjoiMDljZTA3NGUtMjJiYS00YjQwLTk5MTktM2VlNWQ5ODViYjM5IiwidCI6IjI4YzVlNGJkLTVkNmMtNGI1OS1hMGU5LTBhMjQ0Mzk4OTNiZSJ9&pageName=ReportSection

I have told a dozen friends and family about GME. None have bought in. My sales pitch was high level and casual because details end up sounding unhinged. That’s the way it goes. GME billionaires will be a tiny percentage in this world. And I will lament to all those who I told that I sold at the the dividend split and should have held on. “I mean, I did all right but wow, it sure went higher than anyone could’ve imagined! I made enough for a few vacations and stuff but nothing life changing.” Meanwhile… 🛥 ✈️ 🏰 🌎 💴

I feel like I’ve been on here too fucking much that I already know this off the top of my head as soon as the splividend announcement was made. Am I a reddit junkie or should we start summarizing old S-tier DD’s as well
