Well I don’t know cause I’m not a short seller. I know my TSLA shares did very well for me after the 2020 dividend split and for that I got a dividend of 4 shares for every share I owned. I read something like they have to do a journal entry so the shares got too exist (bought or shorted) and the brokers got too put them in peoples accounts. So they gotta come from somewhere. TSLA was heavily shorted to. Guess we will see in a couple weeks. I made lotsa money off TSLA hope this pays to.
