Then as the price falls back down he would then pop back up on the ask while never filling an order. This is called spoofing and is way to not let a stock run up. DRS, IEX, HODL

My Dad lost 2 million in a day on Oxford health when it came out they were cooking the books. His net worth at the time was 2 million. The next morning my mom got him out of bed told him to put on his work boots and go make it all back. Which he did (not in the market). They had the best marriage I’ve ever seen. She died 25 years later at 59 of brain cancer. . He has never been the same. She was ride or die. If your wife can’t handle a 20k fuck up then she did you a favor. Even if you have a gambling problem it’s forgivable. You didn’t abuse her. You didn’t cheat on her. You just got caught up in the casino. Now put your work boots on metaphorically speaking and go make it all back.

It’s shocking that this is well known, well documented and with tons of evidence - yet still no action or attempt to hold those institutions and individuals accountable for the thousands of companies that fell prey to such practices.
