Personally I don't think being a contrarian just because people are loud/proud about something is a great way to live. I don't like loud shit either, but it's exclusive from whether or not something is true or important. The market is massively fraudulent and over-centralized. BBBY/GME are both focal points of activism for more transparent and free markets. You don't have to care, but actively fighting against that because you don't like bandwagoning is actually just petty and nihilistic. Especially when you consider the impact of the current market structure - which effectively saps the work/effort from the middle class and hands it to rich people for free.
