source>. I think a lot of Americans would scoff at submitting their DNA samples & medical records. Lmao. Do just the tiniest bit of research before making this claim. Millions of Americans have paid $99 to nonhealthcare companies (read: this genetic data is not protected by HIPAA) to get their DNA sequenced to find out they are .05% Chickasaw and have an ancestor who owned a smallpox factory in 1821. Americans literally pay to do this without thinking how their genetic data can and will be used against them.

sourceTldr; are you trying to get everyone on this sub to take a dna tests so they find the retard gene? That could really help science.

sourceThank you! Sequencing is a lot more expensive than Genotyping. https://customercare.23andme.com/hc/en-us/articles/202904600-Difference-Between-DNA-Genotyping-Sequencing

sourceNo it's DNA genotyping and not DNA sequencing.

sourceOkay I was talking shit about Prime Day earlier but I got a complete collection of Beavis and Butthead for 20 bucks, an Alfred Hitchcock collection with like 13 blu rays for 50 bucks, and a 23 and Me test to see if I have horse DNA since I’m swinging this big ole donkey dick around 🐴

source>Do just the tiniest bit of research before making this claim Please re-read my statement. I wrote *a lot of Americans.* Besides, the sequencing kits you're referring to (Ancestry, 23AndMe, etc) do not *sequence* the whole DNA. They only *sample* a part of it (a process known as DNA genotyping). I'm not referring to such companies.

sourceIt's called "computational medicine" and most DNA has been collected already. If you submitted a covid test on a college campus that has a medical school, they got you too (this probably hurt companies like 23andme and ancestry). There might be money to be made here, but probably more with companies that are going to use the information for CRISPR tech like VRTX and NTLA. Good call with Therma Fisher too. Not financial advice but I like these stocks.
