As you can imagine, the internet had a few things to say about the price move. Here's a few choice comments from the Reddit Traderverse™:

Musk is absolutely fucked. And not for $1B—for the whole purchase price of the company. Delaware Chancery Court ain't nothin' to fuck with when specific performance is on the line. I have a short position in TSLA and a long position in TWTR. https://imgur.com/x9qtKv0 the short position on TSLA might have been ambitious, I might move it around to just straight long on TWTR.

If it works for Robinhood it should also work for $18 Billion in TWTR share losses right?

Positions or ban on the long on twtr. It's such a retarded play that I need to see it. Any outcome of this lawsuit is rip for them.

Twtr PE=140, META PE=12..... ID say twtr should be $3 to $4

Settled how? Why would TWTR be willing to accept anything other than a modest reduction to the purchase price? I can’t see them accepting a few billion dollars after all this. They would be buried in shareholder lawsuits They have a strong case and should see it through imo

proof of the long on TWTR in the edit of the original comment. >Any outcome of this lawsuit is rip for them. i mean, yeah, for Twitter *the company*. my bet is on Twitter *the shareholders* because the Delaware Chancery Court is gonna make Elon smoke the whole bag and pay the shareholders $54.20/share. at which point Elon will own Twitter, and it will be an elon problem.

dream scenario is court forces elon to pay the difference between TWTR current market cap and the buyout offer make elon suffer, but don't let that walking dildo own twitter

“Having mounted a public spectacle to put Twitter in play & having proposed & then signed a seller-friendly merger agreement, Musk apparently believes that he...is free to change his mind, trash the company, disrupt its operations, destroy stockholder value & walk away" TWTR ain’t playing ![img](emote|t5_2th52|12787)
