really confused too - but i think that it may be because (1) its now clear that Don/MAGA hate netflix and are willing to take action to get in their way; (2) the hostile bid means that NFLX is probably going to be stuck in a bidding war where they may have to make a higher bid and will face a lot of scrutiny. Just my guess! (i.e. small dump after their bid because they gotta spend money and stock may be diluted; bigger dump after hostile bid bc they may have to make an even higher bid, may face antitrust action, and are on Republican bad side)
