I never took calculus but passed the 5 multiple choice question placement quiz first week freshman year and did horribly in calc i lol. Never took discrete. Switched from mech engineering to ecology.

I experienced the same thing. Calc I was the most difficult and I may have even had to retake it. Calc II and III were fine, Diff-q was fine, Discrete Structures I fucked up hard on.
