That’s why when I still worked I had a separate WiFi just for the job
The year is 2030. You're suddenly jarred awake by your wifi-linked alarm; your GrokAI manager has decided to shift the floating start time of your 16-hour workday again. You try to coax your Optimus bot into a morning quickie, but the guy that's in Bangladesh controlling it via VR isn't feeling it this morning. Oh well, Elon said full AI control is "coming soon". You sigh, and go to the kitchen for a cup of Cofvefe (potent FDA-approved mix of amphetamine salts, ketamine, and collodial silver). Your Robotaxi arrives, and the patented RoboArm automatically pushes a homeless guy out of the back seat; you're not sure if he's breathing. As is tradition, you keep your head ducked for the ride, just in case the Robotaxi runs into a semi trailer. You ask Grok the weather, and it says something nice about Hitler. As you're pulling up to a red light, you peek up to notice a Cybertruck next to you. A guy with a Labubu turned into a necklace leans out of the window and blows out a big puff of vape smoke before throwing out an outstretched arm to show the crowd his love. He must be a TSLA holder, the stock just hit $740 today so he must be in a good mood. Both cars run the red light, and are involved in a 12-car collision. Before the ambulance arrives, a TSLA NDA pops up on your phone, and since there's no decline button you accept. At the hospital, GrokAI determines you have been selected as an IVF candidate for one of Elon's children. Even though you're a man, you jump for joy, you may have just hit your golden ticket.
Yep, as you both said, they're bloated. Their pre-paid or other MNVO's that use their network are a much better deal for a fraction of the cost and same network. Their "extras" are laughable garbage. Only toolboxes are paying $50+ a line for cell service at this point, it's not 2008. Prepaid is ~$25/mo for nearly unlimited data, if you are wifi a lot like me you can get away with a 5gb plan. I pay $15/mo for phone service and if I wanted to could probably pay less. The cell market profitability has peaked from customers; their data mining has just begun though, and now they'll have jucier federal gestapo buyers like palantir.
No WiFi at the food bank for bers to buy more puts
