Basically. Ask chatgpt to describe a gamma squeeze. Pretty much all calls are ITM. So yes, MM’s need to accumulate to ensure liquidity. It does tend to settle after these dates. But what’s great about this setup is there is massive call volume for the weeklies and then it runs into 9/19 monthly. I am expecting a few shakes and maybe some new short interest but in general run up through 9/19. This would be problematic at there was no fundamental change. The news that caused h this to jump is very good and fundamentally changes the trajectory of the company from nearing bankruptcy to a credible and viable company. So may not even pull back much.
