Edit: I hope I didn't offend you. These are just my personal views. I don't think it's propaganda. FWIW I don't judge individuals who smoke weed at all. But it actually is quite difficult. * Alcohol has a very strong taste. It's very hard to spike drinks or food with it. When cooked it evaporates into nothing, otherwise it maintains a very strong taste. THC can withstand very high temperatures and become tasteless. * Breathalyzer allows very rapid, non-invasive detection. Critical for determining if someone has consumed too much. THC doesn't have an equivalent test. * Extremely difficult to poison people with alcohol. I once went to a juice truck with two girls. They were laughing hysterically, gave me a free lemonade. I said are you sure? They said they are going out of business it's free don't worry about it. Later I got fairly high at the office and luckily it was pretty slow but I was annoyed. I know what it feels like I used to smoke a lot. I suppose it's possible I ate an edible somehow but that was the most likely culprit. I can't prove it but I think they gave me a spiked drink. * I think it's much harder to control how vulnerable groups like teens or kids can end up using it. There's also increasingly more studies demonstrating its harm. Possibility to cause anxiety, psychosis and exacerbate many mental illnesses. I get it, you invest in it. You probably enjoy it and think this is bullshit, nothing wrong with it. IMHO there are real differences that make marijuana problematic for society.
