I think the thought behind the Mach-e is that people with your opinion likely can’t afford them, and those who can (boomers) have nostalgic appeal for a mustang muscle car, but lack the physical ability to get in and out of a low slung muscle car now that they’re 70 but still want to reclaim the mustang-ness of their youth
