Beyond being very bullish for additive manufacturing, Army Lt. Gen. Chris Mohan specifically states "We’re working with several commercial partners.... We’ve got two production facilities right now, the Joint Manufacturing Technology Center at Rock Island, Illinois, and then Tobyhanna Army Depot in Pennsylvania." ... Some quick googling will quickly show you that both those places use Stratasys ($SSYS) 3D printers. https://sam.gov/opp/06a7fb1e10f04223a1d28a88e7f9c802/view https://sam.gov/opp/0e5139a916a6429380a87afae21804ee/view Furthermore, later in the article they state "Everybody knows this (3D Printing drones) is critical. This is a critical capability that we have to have — not want to have — we have to have it because the battlefield is headed that direction right now"

Can $SSYS print or should I be looking for a 4th job?
Respectfully, please re-read my DD.... Aerospace and defense primes have extremely stringent certification standards (high barrier to entry) and SSYS is one of the few companies certified to 3D print flight-ready parts for aerospace & drones. Therefore they already have a large moat and they are already bring in 550m in revenue with aerospace/defense being the biggest vertical. Furthermore, beyond the expense of buying other 3D printers and setting up consumable supply chains with other companies, their digital ecosystem (e.g., GrabCAD Print) also would make it hard for customers to switch to other 3D printing startups if they ever got past the certification requirements.
Buying SSYS calls when market opens. Israel + United state of Israel and drones, doesn’t get more bullish than this
#TLDR --- **Ticker:** SSYS **Direction:** Up **Prognosis:** Calls on the certified tendie printer. **Moat:** Military-grade red tape & proprietary plastic goop. **Why?:** SSYS is one of the few companies certified to 3D print flight-ready parts for aerospace & drones. This locks in defense contractors, creating sticky, recurring revenue from printers, materials, and services. It's a "picks and shovels" play for the drone/UAV boom, and a US Rep on the military construction committee is buying.
