It’s so frustrating the amount of times I’ve found myself exiting a position out of lack of patience and then sometimes quite a while later the original long term thesis plays out and I no longer have the balls to enter it as it’s moving and feel I missed it
Examples this year include platinum, copper, XLV, GOOGL, CRSP, LQDA, LMT, NTRA, LDOS, KTOS, MDGL, BABA, C, URA, URNM, UUUU and a bunch of the nuclear and energy stocks like OKLO or SMR probably others I’m forgetting. A lot of these I caught a piece of but not nearly as much as I would have liked to have caught if I had been more patient or just been more comfortable letting a winner ride or re entering after it had moved above my exit or a price I wanted to get it at and the market had already started to rapidly reprice it and I simply wasn’t believing it would stay there bc of how long I watched it flounder.
Of course they did. They will dilute even more as the stock stays this elevated.
People don’t learn from all the other meme stocks. When the c-suite see the apes coming, they start the dilution.
