Oh my bad, to be fair I'm around 20+ years your elder and have bad eye sights from working in tech for 2 decades. Also as a long time member of this sub, me no read too good. Also you talk more like the boomers and Gen X I interact with at my work man, I thought you're relatively old like me. You're at the age where you kinda have nothing to lose chasing the dragon, but you don't want to be caught with life changing events without money. Not financial advice but if I'm your age with that liquidity, I'd to do a 10-20-30-40 split; 40% in index fund leaps, 30% in Magic 7 leaps(I'd just stick to GOOGL and NVDA tbh), 20% in leaps for non-Magic 7 large caps with huge growth based on current trends(SNDK, MU, NBIS, CRWV, PRIM, etc), then 10% just play monthlies on whatever is shooting up. I'm doing 70% gamble and 30% in leaps now because it's all house money that I don't care about, but always having 30% in leaps ensure I'll always have enough house money to play no matter what.
no im not old, i said im too young for this gray hair. aka too stressful swinging options. I dont see it as a viable long term strategy compared to leveraged funds atleast. Ill take a look into PRIM. Im 26.
I mean yes, but you said you're old so pick something with a 1 year horizon then set aside play money specifically for the most liquid long dated options in index to swing instead. Or go for PRIM or some shit, I know 2 old dudes who're bogleheads and they parked a sizable amount in it with a 2 year horizon. tl;dr they're one of the main ones tapped to build the infrastructure for the data servers, one-stop construction from piping energy to the building itself. They are literally making a killing while the big tech and neo clouds are hemorrhaging money paying these people to rush the infrastructure construction
