Would be hilarious if J&J lost and then used the legal "Texas Two Step Bankruptcy" loophole the state handed companies on a silver platter, to avoid paying Texas.
Not so sure it would be wise to settle it for shareholders of J&J or Kenvue’s. Inevitably would create a perception of guilt and be terrible for their reputation/trust as a brand (i.e admission they WERE hiding something) and likely open them up to more civil lawsuits. Neither of which are likely to lead to the blessed promised land of long term shareholder value.
