Pretty funny in hindsight that the O&G industry was pro 🥭. That man repaid them by releasing oil from the SPR on a loan basis, jawboned oil prices down while the release was ongoing, blamed them publicly for something out of their control, and now that the companies who obtained SPR barrels have to pay back 1.5 barrels for each barrel they got, oil is above the prices it was loaned out at. Hell of a way to treat your friends.
