I just don't see it. I've actually worked with this company. Their business model is archaic in terms of the technology they deploy to automate process. What they do is being taken over by cheap baked in Ai solutions like co-pilot, power automate, etc.
They just had their fusion conference last week, maybe they released some fresh news. But my org just canceled our contract with them.
I think it's more common in sports with less money or payouts.
With something like the NFL there's for sure some fuckery afoot here and there, but the owners and org make so much freaking money that fixing on a large scale with top down direction to the rest of the league just puts it all at risk and is not feasible to control. Instead they throw money at trying to control it and issue crazy penalties if it happens.
Now whether or not gambling schemes like within referee groups or inside news betting, etc., I'm sure that shit happens and will always happen anywhere there's money to be made on an outcome.
