I’ve heard so much about how important it will be to refinance US debt into long duration bonds at a low rate. That was supposed to be the big treasury goal.
So when do they force the long rates down?
Not just on America soil though. Any country who doesn’t get in on this should understand they are going to be left behind if they do not have AI/Cloud infrastructure in their controlled jurisdiction.
Imagine a country like Malaysia or Spain.. having their government administration or financial system running on AI out of data centers in Virginia or India.
It’s like having a potential enemy gently fondling your balls, knowing he can crush you anytime.
I fully expect this so-called AI bubble to encapsulate the rest of the world even as it dies down on US soil.
You're smarter than me, I really did jump in without doing enough research on things like valuations of companies, good stock selection, etc. and got burned fast.
It hurts, but I consider myself lucky the lesson I had to learn is relatively small in the greater scope of things, at least compared to the $500k+ lessons some other folks on this sub have gone through. I do plan to port into ETFs with my remaining cash on hand for a while now.
I absolutely hate Elon Musk today. But no, he did not “get in sooner on something everyone saw was the future”.
16 years ago, when Tesla was first launching the Roadster, not a single established car manufacturer thought EVs were gonna be anything but a cute project.
Elon Musk and Tesla literally changed the entire industry.
Elon Musk is a fucking moron now. But I think he truly deserves massive amounts of credit for literally changing the industry and making Tesla a household name.
Today, Tesla is massively overvalued as a company and its more recent developments have been completely disappointing. However, 16 years ago, Tesla was perpetually a day away from totally collapsing and becoming bankrupt.
You can’t make such a dramatic change with dumb luck and incompetent leadership. He’s definitely not the sole reason, but he’s a likely the biggest reason.
Today he’s an egomaniacal bitch so he deserves all the hate he gets.
Oh my gourd!
