There’s legitimate use cases, and it’s an interesting new technology, just those use cases don’t justify the current market evaluations.  Interestingly, something similar could be said for e.g Tesla.  Not saying they’re overvalued by the same amount, mind you.

The crazy part is, we are all told basic investing at some point… And then we dabble with the dark arts, we fawn ourselves with pride, people think we sound smart. We slap down stupid amounts of money on 0DTE SPY options with interwoven complexity, the likeness of which only the Greeks can read the words… yet have no idea what they mean. People look at us like we are a mad scientist on a crusade to kill God…possessed with other worldly ambitions of world domination… Somehow, the paradox of knowing more comes at our own detriment. In Socratic fashion, I am aware of my own unawareness; the only thing I know, is that I don’t know anything! It’s like the light of Gnosticism thrown on its head. Salvation is through not knowing….how can this perplexity, riddles and whispers of labyrinth, possibly be the truth? It CANNOT BE YET IT IS!!! It burns in my mind like the tortured image of God that the demons must carry around with them for all ages; they can leave hell, but hell goes with them.
