Look at how many people have completely lost hope of the market going up from here because they’ve been let down so many times. The next leg up is upon us.
If this is true be ready for a world of hurt. Most people forget that before the GFC, oil went to $147 before the Lehman collapse. I believe high energy costs broke the weakest leg which was housing at the time.
If energy costs skyrocket it will break our system. Why? because energy underpins the whole economy and is an input into everything we do. High private debt levels plus high cost of energy is a huge liquidity event.
When one leg of a debit spread gets assigned early you make maximum profit early, it’s the best.
The key is to not be poor… have portfolio margin… have enough money to cover a trade. Be chill with your brokers risk management people in Chicago and just close out the trade when you get a chance…
Patience. My fear is it lost $385 support today. I'm going to hold through 2/11 and see what they say. Â
Lots of people concerned about NVDA HBM4 sales. I'm confident the market is large enough and they will also get some NVDA sales for HBM4, but we need to consolidate, wait for some more good news before the next leg up. Market and thesis is still very good, and we may just need to wait for earnings.Â
