It was my main taxable account that was largely B&H. Then I began to consolidate taxables to Fidelity and then, a big rebalancing. I was largely B&H in all of those merged accounts (trading for a time was confined to other platforms/accounts, though I keep gravitating to Fidelity for execution.) But yes, FIFO was the default for taxes that J didn’t pay much mind to *until* I realized during rebalancing that I’d sold off a bunch of lower priced, older shares in general, so attempted to correct to TLH during rebalance (this is so embarrassing, it wasn’t my intention and I made many mistakes,) so switched to selling the Highest priced first based on LT or ST capital gains. Um. In other words, yes. Taxes.

Think with beat euphoria in 2024 it can get above the price targets for a very short time. but to hit or break $1,400 I think you'd need another catalyst like some good news from J pow around an ER, or an end to a war, ect. I think $1,400 is high for 2024, even with a santa clause rally. To hold to 2026? Who knows. I personally think in 10 years you'll wish you held on....or we'll be taken over by robots or WWIII happened, or the global economy crashed, so wouldn't matter anyway. I could see a big hype run though in 2025 with BTC peak bull cycle and maybe a rate cut. Froths up the masses a bit
