Yeah, I don't disagree with you there, using CB or a broker is easier and in some cases far safer than trying to track your own keys. My point was more that crypto is intrinsically different in that there is still a PK, no matter who is holding it, or how many times it's stored or backed up. If that's gone, it's gone. With forming a company and issuing stock it's just a matter of getting the execs and the lawyers in a room for an hour while everyone bangs their dicks on the table and the lawyers leave paid. There's nothing that could make the stock suddenly disappear.

AI is only going to get better. The first semi conductor was made in 1947. The first atom was split in 1932. The first atmospheric engine was made in 1712. You have to realize that technology needs years to mature and develop into what they eventually become.  We are absolutely in an AI boom, but the forces that were holding the US back (easy free cheap labor from around the world and infinite consumer goods) are now gone and forcing us into a state where we have to produce AI, robots, spacecraft, and all the new keys to economic future. Just think, a single asteroid of sufficient mass could contain more iron than has ever been mined in the entire history of mankind. The same goes for silver, gold, palladium, titanium, cobalt, and nickel. The moon has vast reserves of hydrogen capable of being turned into reactor fuel, or turned into water depending on the need.  There is a world where domestic manufacturing on planet is no longer necessary and the vast majority of it is done somewhere else
