Here's my limited impression (and analogy) of nuclear: building even the most basic reactor in the US is like 10x worse red tape than getting FDA approval for a cancer drug. Now imagine that drug has dozens of alternatives and even a few cheaper generics floating around under different labels AND it's something you can get cheaper/easier in another country. Also a better drug could come along 10-20yrs from now making today's drug obsolete. Screw today's fundamentals..i'm out; mainly because these days there's no altruism left behind investing in clean energy that is just going to be used to generate JD Vance memes.
