Can we not play the rollercoaster today please. One direction (up) pick it and go that way without hesitation. “B-b-but muh RSI, muh imaginary TA lines” Fuck ‘em, stocks only go up
I'm a pretty well off business owner and the thing is, they don't necessarily think you're rich, they think that A) you're in charge, which means you're important and B) you have a lot of free time.
lower b band means oversold literally touching it is super red hot oversold
CUDA absolutely is a moat. Not because “stringing compute together is hard,” but because fifteen years of optimized kernels, libraries, frameworks, and developer tooling don’t magically reappear the moment someone else wants in. It’s not the silicon, it’s the ecosystem. And yes, Google markets TPUs. Every time a TPU paper drops with pretty charts and a “look how fast this is” figure, that’s marketing. In the actual industry, TPUs are Google-only appliances with narrow use cases. They don’t run most enterprise workloads, they aren’t general purpose, and they aren’t adopted outside Google Cloud. If TPUs were about to take the market, hyperscalers wouldn’t be buying hundreds of thousands of H100s and B-series parts. They’d be cutting orders. They aren’t. They’re increasing them.
Things go wrong when currency A no longer keeps a low interest rate, and when you have to convert back from B to A to pay things back, the return is not what you expected.
It's when you borrow money in currency A for a low interest rate, and convert that money into currency B to invest at a higher interest rate.
It was and it wasn't. It was initially of course. In our individual manners we both thought we were smarter than A) the market and B) time. The quote I have most appreciated most from an author came during a q & a session after an interview with Michael Lewis at UCSB. The market can show you where it is failing and out of step. Unfortunately the market can defy logic, reason, and truth far longer than most investors can afford. He was referring to the crash described in his book The Big Short. A lot of people knew things were unsustainable. Very few were able to correctly (luckily for them) bet against the housing market in any substantial manner. A great many did, but the insanity of the real estate market outlived any reasonable expectation.
OR B ALL AND YOLO
Start a companys, vibe one that deal with oil, one that does ai-something, and one that does quantum something else. Get a small business loan. Loan it to one of the other companies at a higher interest rate (so the first company makes money on the loan), then have company B loan money to company III at an even higher interest rate so they make money, then have company C loan company first moneys so company iii makes money from the loan. Keep doing that until you get bought by open AI after their Google acquisition (and then added to the Google graveyard). It's too complicated to fail. Make sure you invest in Microsoft too (for a copy of Excel since you'll have to keep track of stuff). It's basically dumb reproof.
