Well somebody brought up P&Ds, you responded with “he’s literally not an insider” and they pointed out that you don’t have to be an insider to P&D. I’m not saying he did or didn’t do anything illegal but their response to your insider comment seems fair.

Pump and dumps aren’t specifically illegal unless they 1) misrepresent facts 2) have privileged information. Keith Gill has neither. I’d encourage you to check the SEC statutes involving P&D and see for yourself which laws he allegedly violated.

Yeah, I actually read more and it looks like the point of the study was to assess market sentiment when voting for president. Like when we're feeling bullish/bearish do we vote for R or D. So in that context it makes a lot of sense.
