Doctors are pors in disguise 🥷 If two equal men set off on the same path at age 18 One to be a doctor The other works at mcdonalds Mcdonalds actually becomes wealthier. What people miss is progression, the fry cook is there like 2-3 years tops or less. After that they become a store manager, and eventually an area manager. Again, these are two equally capable men. Thus the discipline and desire for pristige remain equal upon both career paths. By the time the doctor has completed residency and approaching their 30's.. The mcdonalds guy is close to getting a regional level management position and has been making 120k+ for at least 3 years now with no debt and a viscious 401k built. If theyre savvy and married theyre close to 600k net worth before doctor gets their first real position. By age 45, 10 years later, the doctor starts gaining some traction since the debt is paid off, now theyve got a clear advantage in annual take home pay. But since they are in a higher yearly tax bracket, they functionally make less (proportionally) than the mcdonalds worker whos income was more spread out thus taxed less (and earned more on investments).
