We had rate hikes and an oil shock in 2000 and 2008 too. Didn't prevent a blow off top.
If they don’t go crazy in Venezuela and get fucked there, I believe it’s a good play. Especially getting in now. I got in and made some money from the moves before when the stock was at 15-30$. If they can increase their volume without any issues and pay the loan back quickly they can move up fast, I think. They are high risk though. If anything goes wrong I think that will be it. Their CEO seems to be a degenerate gambler himself and is in bed with this administration. IMO they should stay away from any investments in oil fields in Venezuela, financially and from a geopolitical risk standpoint. It seems they are trying to get in there, though. So he seems to be a go big or go home type of guy. They were extremely close to being sent home and because of it (huge loan) they aren’t going that big right now. Not financial advice.

I thought the same, but I think the upcoming hikes are intentionally or unintentionally preventing that. I'm expecting quite a choppy market over the next 6 months or so. Will probably grind up to 800 or something.
Yes. We have a high IQ stable genius leading us
I don't think I was ever so confident that the market will be green tomorrow as yesterday, didnt make a ton but 3% over night is alright in my books
Is it a good time to freak the fuck out and sell everything?
That's right now... check back in a month or two and SGOV will be comparable. And when rates go the other way, HYSA's will drop immediately and SGOV will maintain its rate for a month or two as it has a maturity averaging around 40 days.
Because Elon still hasnt learned to shut up, China is eating their lunch in foreign EV markets, Waymo is ahead of them in the driverless taxi game, and nobody wants a Tesla robot in their house.
Well everyone is constantly saying they aren't a car company...
