Yeah, but the issue is the antitrust is going to bite them in the ass since they are the biggest streaming company. This battle isn’t going to be easy; news came out that the Ellisons flew to Washington regarding this acquisition. It might be similar to the AT&T acquisition that would probably take 3 years before they make any profit.

One issue may be a lot of competition from BiTE drugs. I’ve been in the Regeneron linvoseltamab trial for 3.5 years now, completely cancer free for 3 years. I have multiple myeloma which is considered incurable. It’s putting about 50% of patients into long term remission, but more importantly its response rate is essentially 100%, and basically zero side effects other than immunosuppression. There are a bunch of other bite drugs coming to market for this disease and many others. It’ll be interesting to see if an mRNA drug works for my disease. There’s not really a backup plan if this drug stops working for me, so if mRNA is highly successful then patients like myself will probably end up using both types of drugs in an alternating fashion over long periods of time.

Remember the old adage "the market can irrational longer than you can stay solvent"? I feel like the same applies here on a grander scale. Like yeah it absolutely will bite us all in the ass one day. But the global economic status quo can continue to be irrational not only far longer than we can stay solvent, but likely longer than we can all live. They are, in fact, going to keep getting away with it because the people who will suffer the consequences likely aren't even born yet.
