No. We work in emerging technology R&D. I limit my exposure and we don’t share our work until it’s commercialized… the it’s someone else’s product. I got lucky a decade ago and made a name for myself now I work organically and take my time
In 2014 I worked in the tech industry for a F50 company, robotics and machine learning was the plan to reduce head count at the this company just after off-shoring jobs to India. Anyways coworker was telling me about AI was big for Nvidia R&D but it wasn’t being reported on their earnings call because it wasn’t revenue generating yet. Anyways based on that I was buying Nvidia constantly basically as a hedge to the what if scenario because it was just a matter of time.
>Even if Fed policy works, and prices for goods come down
The fed doesn't want prices to come down (i.e., deflation). The fed wants "stable prices" (i.e., disinflation). The fed wants the rate of inflation to come down to 2%.
>Can this mindset become a self-fulfilling prophecy with respect to the recession? Could this lead to some sort of deflationary spiral? Have there been examples of bolstered consumer spending without having some meaningful deflation on essential goods?
The [deflationary spiral](https://www.investopedia.com/terms/d/deflationary-spiral.asp) mindset is where prices are deflating, and people see that, but rather than buy at cheaper prices, they wait for even cheaper prices, and this loop repeats as prices continue to fall.
Currency trading is not the same as the dollar shortage.
