OP seems to forget when people are out of jobs, some of the easiest last place for work is transportation. Uber, uber eats, door dash etc. The last thing to go is jobs and this "traffic" you speak of. You'll be surprised how long I can last with no job opening credit card after credit card. I mean US is doing well, 34T worth of credit debt. People keep loaning too lol.

It’s crazy how gambling clouds peoples’ judgement. I was talking with a pretty intelligent dude at work and he’s going on about this elaborate roulette strategy that he has been toying with. He turned $100 to $1K. He asks if I’m going to try my hand at it. I say no because I don’t like to enter into an inherently losing trade. For the next 20 minutes I try and break down the house edge to him and that statistically, over an infinite amount of spins, he is 100% certain to lose money. Fact is the model 3 is already cheap as hell and they can’t cut much out of it. There is no money in subcompacts. He was vague enough that he can claim he just meant the model Y price cut. Model2 is dead and for good reason but he had to skirt that for now to keep share price afloat. I guarantee the robotaxi reveal is a model 3 with no steering wheel. Then in 2025 we see ‘dev fleet’ model3’s buzzing around California with drivers in them doing the same dumb bullshit as waymo and Cruze and Uber.
