For most people they are the same, you are correct though technically. OP is however using it in a way inter replaceable with money, or international financial mark system on some level of centralization and acceptance.

While yes their antenna is larger SpaceX will have vastly larger amounts of the smaller antennas in orbit increasing the bandwidth they can output as a whole constellation. On top of this… who is going to launch their rockets for them? SpaceX? Why would SpaceX take a competitor and help them. If not SpaceX the next closest thing is either ULA or Blue Origin with the ladder having no orbital class rocket even certified for flight. ULA just launched the maiden flight of Vulcan which means it’s still an expensive rocket platform and doesn’t have the track record the the Falcon9 has. ASTS is a good company with a good product but a shit strategy and shit ability to deliver their product. Bankrupt in 6 years mark my words
