It's true that Google search is getting worse and worse. I remember when they used to have the "discussion" tab and you would be able to search for product reviews or useful information for troubleshooting on forums. Now if I search for a product, it's all showing retailers and their fake review sections. I believe they did that to make way for their "shopping" tab. I believe they recently got rid of exact searches as well. If you search for things in quotes "like this ", google will just completely ignore that. Other search engines need to step up their game and fill the void.

I think you're right about VR and the meta verse stuff, but I think AR is the next step in technology once we have a convenient form factor. Your phone screen will be in front of your face 24/7. Adblock will be a crime on par with shoplifting in terms of consequences.

Thats very true, and AI is another step in our self created prisons. Techies are creating this mess and assuming we will all need to chat with AI and wear goggles over our eyes so we’re constantly stimulated claiming its human progress, well maybe its digression? Maybe what we really need less screen time, more nature, less chatbots and more human conversation.

What makes you think they’re anything but sub 85 in? Robo taxi? Really? How much did the app screens cost, like 700 bucks to some guy on fiverr? There’s a reason they were screenshots of app screens and not a demo of a real app: it doesn’t exist, as he likely thought it up 6 hours before the earnings call to save the stock. And like we don’t already have robo taxis that have been failing miserably every step of the way, or the self driving functionality in Tesla is already in hot water and killing people constantly.
