Interesting. I'm not sure how much that factors in with other automakers. As far as I understand most dealerships are independent from the makers. So John Doe Ford isn't channeling any money back to Ford through services. The automaker still has some repair parts though. As far as I know the automakers make all the fenders and bumpers for body shops.
